Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone could be of assistance here. Now I know this is a bit of a long shot here, as this chip has been long discontinued, but I was wondering if anyone has a spare Sbox USB chip for the PS2 lying around. If not, perhaps someone knows where I could pick one up? I don't care if it's used, it's going to have to be unless someone has brand new one's they've been stashing for years lol. This is an external chip for the fat PS2's v7 and under (I'm also aware that one wire must be soldered for this to work correctly, which is fine . )
I currently have a v7 console, and have heard mixed things about whether this chip is capable of booting PS2 backups or not on this model, but that doesn't concern me all that much. What I want this chip for is to boot psx/ps1 imports/backups directly with no swapping required. That's my main concern.
If anyone could be of assistance, it would be greatly appreciated thanks!
