It should work now, but please use Firefox, not IE.

I know some *accelerators do NOT work since the crashpoint FTP server handling the files only allow one connection from each client IP.
*) With accelerators I mean software like:
FlashGet
GetRight
LeechFTP
Download Accelerator
Download Boost
...there are many others as well.

I think the download problem is solved after we changed to Apache webserver instead of using ftp. A week has has passed without reports of frozen/stalled downloads, however, it can be slow sometimes.

We are forced to use ftp again since some users abuse the http server with turbo download (leech) programs/addons that opens lots of connections and takes all bandwidth for other users trying to connect.
Strange_Days65,
In your case I think the problem could be due to a firewall. Here is a tip how to make downloads work in Internet Explorer by changing ftp mode to "passive" (Mozilla/FireFox users don't need this since it uses passive ftp by default).
How to change the Internet Explorer FTP Client mode
1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
3. Click the Advanced tab.
4. Under Browsing, click to clear the Enable folder view for FTP sites check box.
5. Click to select the Use Passive FTP (for firewall and DSL modem compatibility) check box.
6. Click OK.
If that don't work, try removing unwanted browser popups and addons using software like Ad-Aware. (personal version is free)
