Note: You need PSGroove Hermes v3 (or higher) flashed on your jailbreak device for this to work. Also, only some games are possible to update this way.

Download and install the latest PSN Download Manager.
Start the game you want to update on the PS3.
Update the game and wait until the update starts, now cancel it.
Start blackb0x FTP server on the PS3.
On your PC; using the logs from the PSN Download Manager, find the link for the update and download it.
Use Demo Manager to package the update.
Send the folder with the package in it via FTP to your PS3 directory: /dev_hdd0/vsh/task
Start the PS3 in non-jb mode (without using jailbreak) and install the patch from the XMB.
Restart your PS3 in jb mode (with jailbreak).
