Note: THIS METHOD WORKS ON BACKUPS AND GAMES STORED WITH HDLOADER
written by Hardvlade and Liquid
That's right ladies and gentlemen, yours truly here at http://www.psx-scene.com have figured out a way to help those users who are stuck with a black screen after they try to boot their backups with the Code Breaker V9. Most of us have been waiting to get our hands on the final flash of the DMS3 2.4 series. Problem is that they are too busy and don't care about us much anymore hehehe. So Liquid (me) from iN tHE mIND came up with a little fix for this problem so you don't have to wait 6 to 12 months for another DMS update which will probably won't work and they'll just blame it on the code.
Requirements 1. Original Code Breaker V9.0 Disc since the DMS cannot boot the Code Breaker V9 backup. 2. PlayStation 2 with a DMS3 and the final flash 2.4B4 3. Get the Code Breaker 9.0 HDD Fix available on http://www.cmgsccc.com 3. Backup of your favorite HDLoader disc. Getting Started 1. Power up the PlayStation 2 and hold L1 2. Enter the config menu and enable Code Breaker Fix and save to Memory Card 3. Reset your PlayStation 2 and boot up the Original Code Breaker V9 4. Select the cheat codes for the game you want. 5. Insert the backup of the HDLoader disc or the disc you want to cheat on. 6. Wait for the PS2 Red Screen of Death (Insert PSX or PS2 disc) 7. Eject the game leaving on the Browser and System Config Screen 8. Hit Eject again and let it boot. 9. FINALLY YOU ARE DONE==
The codes will work, you ask how come it works this way? Simple the Code Breaker stores the cheat codes in the Memory Card and in the PS2 memory reseting the console will reset this memory. But since you are not resetting it it allows you to keep the codes you saved and use them in the game you want.
Enjoy!!
